There won’t be a hint of Monday-itis next week, because our second ever grants round opens for applications! This year, if your not-for-profit has a project or program that benefits people with a disability, you can apply for up to $20,000. Make sure you’re the first to know by registering your interest.

Following in the successful footsteps of the US and UK, Australian SMS donations are on the horizon. Telco Together Foundation are launching an exciting pilot and are calling for not-for-profits interested in participating. We’re very pleased to see this new fundraising channel coming to fruition in Australia.

Housing Reform

Peak community and housing groups have released ‘An Affordable Housing Reform Agenda’, calling on the Federal Government to work with them in developing a national housing strategy to address the worsening housing affordability crisis in Australia.

 

SMS Donations Pilot

Telco Together Foundation, an alliance of telecommunications companies, is trialling a 12 month program for SMS donations in partnership with around 15 charities. The Foundation is calling for expressions of interest from not-for-profits to take part.

 

Disability Enterprises

Nominations are now open for the Federal Government’s new Disability Enterprise Excellence Awards, recognising enterprises making a significant contribution to the employment and community participation of people with a disability.
