Those who have experienced Sam say...
Entertaining, engaging, inspiring and very, very funny - Sam Cawthorn is an amazing individual and any organisation would be mad not to book him as a guest speaker and motivator. I could not recommend him more highly.

Sam's presentation challenged students to consider who they were and what they stood for. Sam's personal story and his strong positive attitude enable him to challenge our Generation Y students to think about themselves, what the value and what they want to do in life. The students very much enjoyed his style, his humour and his thought provoking approach.

Sam made an amazing contribution to our whole school assembly last week.
His talk was direct and appealed to students of all ages, as well as, staff and parents. He is an engaging speaker, with a very natural approach and has a sense of humour. His talk was gripping and had a strong message about finding your own direction and about self worth.

Sam inspired our student leadership team with his humour and triumph over adversity. His search for meaning has led him to deep spiritual convictions, living and communicating to young people with ease and encouragement. Sam inspired hope in our leaders to make a difference in our world and to be a positive force for good.

Sam Cawthorn's talk was certainly not boring. He spoke from the heart and is a really natural speaker who we could relate to. Despite the horrific injuries he sustained he is so strong and his message seemed to be never give up, and there is a brighter tomorrow if you work positively towards it.

You have left a lasting message in the hearts and lives of our kids. I'll talk to them about the kind of direction you might be able to take with them in a future visit, at a time that suits all round .

We received many extremely positive comments about Sam's address to the school and our community. He was inspirational. He really connected with Kinder students through to Grade 10, and adults as well.

Your courage, drive and inspiration has touched my inner-soul. Not only are you a 'victor', in every sense of the word, but you're a positive force in the wider-community. Instead of becoming embroiled in the downward spiral of self-pity and deep-seated anger, you have chosen to fight the insurmountable. You show others that impossibility is only a state of mind. Through a shocking twist of fate, your valuable life is making an incalculable impact upon others; not just for those whose bodies are wracked with pain and disease, but even the 'healthy'. Many see themselves as 'unfortunate' and 'helpless' victims. Yet, incredibly, they're prisoners of their own making. Through your living example, including a wonderful and unique sense of humour, you inspire, give hope and provide important life skills to people in need. Your presentations enrich, empower and uplift individuals so that they can reshape their own destinies, which in turn have a beneficial impact on others. Thank you Sam for making the world a better place!

You have a gift for getting into their world and I could see they were all captivated and responsive. I wish I had a little bit of that gift. Thank you so much and my prayer is that you will reach many more young people in your life with these messages and that it makes a difference in the lives of these young people.

You certainly made an impact with the students. You were the highlight of the evening and they drew a lot of inspiration and cause for reflection from your story, but also from the remarkable person you are.
